1. Data controller
Remix Master, Belgium. For privacy requests: [email protected] or our contact form.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account data (email address, username, profile, avatar, preferences and security/2FA settings), favorites, likes, shares and comments, technical data (IP address, country, user-agent, language and security identifiers), video-usage data (views, watch time, completion quartiles, replays, skips and mute/unmute actions), and information submitted through the contact form.
3. Contact form
Contact requests may record the email address, reason, message, legal-acceptance timestamp, country, IP address, user-agent, language, referrer and certain Cloudflare security identifiers when available. We use this information to respond, process legal or commercial requests, prevent spam and preserve an appropriate record in case of a dispute.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide requested services and features, manage accounts, remember favorites, measure video performance, secure the platform and prevent fraud, respond to requests, comply with legal obligations and, where appropriate, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Where consent is required, it can be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing.
5. Cookies and identifiers
Cookies may be used for JWT authentication, CSRF protection, language choice and view deduplication. Remix Master also assigns pseudonymous UUID identifiers to browsers and accounts to measure usage, retain interaction history and prepare recommendation features. If these identifiers are later used for advertising profiling or other purposes that require consent, activation should be subject to the applicable consent mechanism. Security services such as Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
6. Advertising and partnerships
The platform may contain advertising, promotions or paid partnerships. If advertising or measurement technologies that require consent are added, they should be enabled in accordance with applicable requirements and the corresponding consent configuration.
7. Recipients and service providers
Data may be processed by technical providers needed to operate the service, such as hosting, video delivery, anti-spam, email, security and database providers. We aim to limit each provider to the data needed for its function.
8. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate transfer mechanisms should be used, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other recognized safeguards.
9. Retention
Data is retained for as long as needed for the purposes described. Active account data is retained while necessary to provide the service. Contact requests are generally retained for up to 24 months after closure unless a legal obligation, claim or dispute justifies a longer period. Certain security and analytics data may be aggregated or kept for shorter periods.
10. Your GDPR rights
Where GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
11. United States residents
Depending on your state and subject to applicable thresholds and exemptions, U.S. laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws may provide access, correction, deletion or opt-out rights. Remix Master does not intend to sell personal data in the ordinary meaning of that term. If future activities constitute a regulated “sale” or “sharing” under an applicable law, required controls should be made available.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HttpOnly authentication cookies, email verification, CSRF protection, rate limits, anti-bot checks, optional two-factor authentication and encryption of TOTP secrets at rest. No Internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes
This policy may change as the service, providers or legal requirements evolve. The current update date appears at the top of this page.
